I've never been a vest guy but I just started splitting wood by hand and needed something that would keep me warm and allow free range of motion. This vest does that very well, in fact it's well-insulated enough that I need to dress lighter than usual. That assures me it will provide adequate warmth if we ever see another real winter... Button pockets keep tools nearby and open pockets are helpful to warm up hands. Feels overbuilt in every detail and should last for years. The style reminds me of something my grandfather would have worn while doing the same chores.

You can never go wrong with Seager gear, and this holds true with the vest. Fits great over a hoodie or flannel, super warm for me up in the mountains, and you can tell this is a high quality piece. Strongly recommend. Fits perfect, sizes the same as my shirts.
