A true rig-riding jacket

Was looking for a good daily jacket was wasn’t too heavy and could be worn with extra layers. After reading some reviews I pulled the trigger on the Ranch coat and am happy I did.

Since I like my jackets to be a little loose with room underneath for heavier layers like a flannel or hoodie, I sized up from a L and purchased the XL. For reference, I am 5’10, 170lbs. The jacket falls right below my waist, the arms are a good length when working and moving, and the back gussets stay in place (seems like an issue for other reviewers who went TTS). If you want a more traditional trucker that’s slim and rides right at/slightly above the waist then I’d recommend you stick to your usual size.

I knew I liked the look of this, but it’s really just a perfect canvas jacket for brisk days. Not insulated, so of course it’s not designed for the winter months.

It seems like layers of nice canvas, the outer feels rugged and the inner is a bit softer. Blocks the wind nicely and helps keep me warm.

The fit is great. I am typically an XL in jackets and it fits well (arms are just a hair long for me). Torso length isn’t long at all, but not quite “trucker” jacket short. Love it and will surely get more in the future as new colors come out.
