The concept began in 2013 when Mattson Smith and Elliott Shaw had an idea for a brand influenced by surf, the outdoors, and classic Western apparel. In 2014, they teamed up with Case Anderson, and together they laid the foundation for Seager - a brand inspired by the Grit and Ruggedness of the Old West.

They each chipped in $250, printed a small run of shirts and one snapback, and started selling to close friends and family. Every dollar earned went straight back into the company. In those early days, they lived lean - eventually moving into their first warehouse to live and work under the same roof, doing whatever it took to keep the dream alive.
Since officially launching in the summer of 2015, they’ve stayed bootstrapped and committed to their original values: small-batch runs, high-quality goods, and no shortcuts. They build product that wears in, not out - designed with intention and backed by the culture we live every day.

We consider our customers friends and family. If you have a question, story, or just want to say hey, please reach out.
